I am a dynamic writer, communicator and visionary. With years of experience, my abilities have taken me through all levels of the marketing and communications service area - from a marketing assistant to vice president at a Fortune 500 company.

A Collaborative Approach
I believe in working closely with clients to bring their vision to life. Whether you need help developing a content strategy or creating a marketing campaign, I will collaborate with you to ensure your goals are met. I understand budgets and deadlines.
And I’ve written across the spectrum of content. Everything from community, employee and media relations to developing full corporate crisis communication plans; from leading social media activities to writing video/multimedia scripts; and from directing government relations communications to developing brand management. I’ve worked closely with executive management teams to conceptualize and manage C-level communication projects, strategic materials and investor relations support materials. I’ve initiated corporate-wide branding programs that created a corporate identity for a company that didn’t have one. I have successfully led marketing communications teams, managed corporate reputations and developed strategic programs on both the Agency and Corporate sides of the table.
In addition, I was adjunct faculty at Alverno College and UNC-Charlotte where I taught business, communications, writing, editing and design courses.
Awards
As to awards, I’ve won some of those too, from PRSA (Public Relations Society of America) to the Business Marketing Association and the League of American Communication Professionals (LACP).
Fiction Writing
Oh, and one last item - I'm also a fiction writer. Mostly YA realistic fiction and a thriller. I have several short stories published - Bathtub Sleepers in Terrors Unimagined anthology (horror), A Full Remodel in Classics Remixed II (fiction), and The Lightning Chronicles (YA) and The Playground (fiction) in It's About Time.
